Do you help with Swedish tax rules?
Yes, we provide information about the latest rules for private rentals. As a landlord in Sweden, you can often benefit from a standard deduction of 40,000 SEK per year, making a large portion of your rental income tax-free.
How does the criminal background check work?
Bofrid is unique in allowing tenants to verify themselves with an extract from the Swedish Police criminal register. This gives you as a landlord a level of security that other platforms lack.
What is Housing Merit (Bostadsmerit)?
It's the tenant's digital CV. It contains verified income, references from previous landlords, and confirmed good conduct. As a landlord, you see all of this directly in the application.
How does the right of residence work?
